What is cross trade shipping?
Cross trade is when goods ship directly from one country to another while the transaction is managed from a third country. For example, a Dubai company can have cargo move straight from its supplier in China to its customer in the UK, with Frequent Shipping coordinating the shipment from Dubai. The goods never enter the UAE.
Why not just ship everything via the UAE?
Routing goods through the UAE when they are destined elsewhere adds a second freight journey, extra handling, additional customs entries and weeks of time. Cross trade removes that detour entirely.
How is confidentiality maintained in cross trade?
